PAO(DSC)CANNANORE .

  The PAO (ORs) DSC maintains Pay Accounts of Jawans of Defence Security Corps (DSC).  The total number of IRLAs maintained in the PAO are about 47,900.  The office is functioning under CDA Chennai and is headed by ACDA/SAO Incharge and supported by 4 SAOs/AOs, 21 AAOs/SOs (A) and 129 SA/Aud/Clerks.  The PAO has 12 Ledger Groups.

   Correct and prompt adjustment of Pay and Allowances and maintenance of Fund accounts are the main functions of the PAO.
